Since an event with several hundred visitors in a limited space may pose an unforeseeable risk for participants and organisers due to the current COVID-19 situation, we have decided to conduct the Vienna Fotomarathon completely contactless. This is to protect everyone.

No Starting-Event - completely contactless

To ensure the safety the starting event of the Wiener Fotomarathon will be held online - this means that you can start wherever you are.

The "new" Course

In mid-September you will receive your starter-kit with your starting number and all relevant information for your participation BY POSTAL MAIL. At thew day of the Wiener Fotomarathon you will get a SMS with the topics for the Wiener Fotomarathon. Additionally we will publish the topics on our homepage and in the social media.

The online registration will be also available on the day of the Wiener Fotomarathon. In case of a short-term registration you will get all for the participation neccessary documents by email within a few minutes after online payment. Its obvious that we will forward the complete starter package by postal mail.

If you register just a few days before the Wiener Fotomarathon we will forward your starter-kit as soon as possible. you will receive all relevant information regarding your start also via email.

Please make sure that you CORRECTLY ADJUST the actual DATE AND TIME in your camera and make the photos of the given topics in the right order with your OWN MEMORY CARD. With an individual upload-code which can be found in your starter package and in your email-inbox, you can upload your pictures till 9 p.m. on our server.

The further procedure remains unchanged. After checking all the photos for their correctness they will get judged and ordered. End of october the best of each contest will get invited to the awards ceremony.

If you take part in Vienna and have no possibility to transfer you images online before 9 p.m. we offer you a safe return-point for your memory card. Please contact us at info@fotomarathon.at for further information regarding this opportunity.

With these steps we ensure that taking part at the Wiener Fotomarathon will not expose you to any risk and nothing stands in the way to enjoy the pleasure and the challenge of this funny photo competition.

The topic selection will also take into account the prevention of large groupings during the Wiener Fotomarathon.
